Oversee the cultivation of ~100,000 C. sativa plants and 250 staff and 5 Managers in >100 controlled, vertically-stacked indoor rooms: ~300,000 ft2. Conduct research to improve flower quality; implement continuous improvement and KPIs; comply with GACP, GMP, Organic Certification, and the Cannabis Act. Responsible for the cultivation of 10,000 C. sativa plants in a controlled indoor 30,000 ft2 facility that utilized an aquaponic production system. Led a cultivation team of 20 concurrent with a botany research group comprised of 3 staff scientists and students from the University of Guelph, funded by NSERC federal grants.
