My philosophy to teaching and mentorship is to inspire more of the strengths of our ancestral nature - when the frontier was everywhere - with fewer of our weaknesses. To this end, I strive to train students and staff to be more confident, capable, far-seeing, and prudent. I practice and facilitate virtue, limit vices, and adopt indifference during perturbation. These are the tools necessary for an abundant and meaningful life, to enhance our understanding, and to carry us forward as individuals, communities, and organizations.
